The newly appointed Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice is Revd Laurie Bond and the Benefice boasts two very fine churches which have lay Ministry in the form of a Benefice Reader and a Lay Evangalist.
St Peter's* which is located in Sible Hedingham and has the higher populus. The village of Sible Hedingham has almost everything you need, A food store, general store, chemist, post office, doctors, tea room and bakery, several hairdressers, an undertaker, two petrol stations and three drinking establishments (one of which caters for meals) and a Snooker Club. There is a recreation ground with an all weather tennis/basket ball court and also a skate board area, childrens play area and public toilets.

Our sister church is St Nicholas located in the heart of Castle Hedingham and not far from the famous Hedingham Castle itself. Again the village is served with local amenities such as a doctors surgery. bike shop, general store and has tennis courts (for members). The village also has some fine drinking establishments, a good restaurant, social club which kindly allows the church on occasions to use their memorial hall..
